For years The Robertson Hotel has been bringing yuletide festivities to winter in the Southern Highlands with our annual Christmas in July celebrations.

Every weekend in July (and sometimes an extra one or two either side), family and friends join us for mulled wine by a roaring fire, a Christmas feast, and festive fun at our grand historic hotel.

The Details:

When bookings open, we host Christmas in July during the following times:

Friday: Dinner
Saturday: Lunch and Dinner
Sunday: Lunch

We can also accommodate mid-week bookings for groups of 20 or more people, with special group booking rates. This is often a popular option for clubs and organisations on day trips to the Southern Highlands, or even corporate team bonding events.

The hotel had lots of really beautiful architectural features and the staff really went to a lot of trouble to decorate it with Christmas lights and huge Christmas trees. The dinner was delicious and the young man who serenaded us on the harp (and later the bagpipes!) made it even more enjoyable.

It was fabulous. On arrival we were served mulled wine, the yummy food was moorish and you certainly weren't left hungry. Atmosphere was great, log fires made it very cosy. The people serving us were very friendly and obliging, would highly recommend. Next time will stay for a couple of days at The Robertson Hotel.

The night was wonderful, old world decadence with beautiful Christmas decorations and fireplaces lit for cosy ambience. Thank you to the staff for your professional and friendly service from the time we arrived for our mull wine in the lounge to leaving after our beautiful meal. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of this beautifully restored hotel.
